Discover two of Turkey’s most famous destinations with this 2-day Istanbul to Ephesus and Pamukkale tour. This tour is ideal for travellers who want to visit Ephesus Ancient City and Pamukkale in a short time with domestic flights, hotel accommodation, guided tours, and comfortable transfers.

On the first day, you will fly from Istanbul to Izmir and visit Ephesus Ancient City, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. You will also visit the House of the Virgin Mary and enjoy lunch during the tour. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi.

On the second day, you will visit Pamukkale and Hierapolis Ancient City. You will see the famous white travertine terraces, ancient Roman ruins, and thermal areas. After the tour, you will be transferred to Denizli Airport for your flight back to Istanbul.

📅 Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Flight to Izmir - Full Day Ephesus Tour
    Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir.

    Upon arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, our team will meet you with a name sign at the exit. After meeting, you will be transferred to Selcuk, where you will join the group and meet your professional tour guide.

    The tour starts with a visit to Ephesus Ancient City, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. During the visit, you will walk along the marble streets and see important landmarks such as the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Trajan Fountain, and the Great Theatre of Ephesus.

    After visiting Ephesus, the tour continues to the House of the Virgin Mary, which is believed to be where Mary spent her final years.

    A traditional Turkish lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

    After lunch, you will continue back to Selcuk. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi.

    Hotel drop-off is usually around 16:30.
  • Day 2 - Pamukkale Hierapolis Tour & Flight to Istanbul
    After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at around 07:30 and transferred to Pamukkale for your guided tour.

    Upon arrival, you will have lunch at a local restaurant before starting the tour. After lunch, you will visit Pamukkale and Hierapolis Ancient City with your professional tour guide.

    During the tour, you will see the famous white calcium terraces of Pamukkale and the important historical sites of Hierapolis, including the Necropolis, Roman Bath, Ancient Theatre, Domitian Gate, and the main street.

    Optional Cleopatra Antique Pool: If you wish, you can swim in the ancient thermal pool for an additional fee. Please bring your swimsuit and any personal items you may need.

    After the tour, you will be transferred to Denizli Cardak Airport for your flight back to Istanbul.

    Please note: The return flight time to Istanbul may vary depending on availability.

    Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport, our team will meet you with a name sign and transfer you back to your hotel.
